These are advertised as dance shorts for which they would certainly serve, but even as fun shorts around the house they work for a girl with the right level of "glamour" ;-) These are fun and shiny so they will definitely stand out. The material is soft and stretchy, with a few ruffles at the bottom to add to the design. The fabric is good quality and the fit is as expected for a 7-8 year old. This can be worn for any active, jumping around or pretend dance play. It is all good. Nice material, good value overall.

These are a silvery iridescent color, giving off mermaid vibes. My daughter loves them but they are a bit too big for her at the moment. She will have to wait to wear them until she grows into them. We ordered 6-7 and she wears 4 or 5 so we did expect them to be loose. The only negative I have is that they aren't really breathable so I'm not sure how comfortable they will be in an intense class.

The Stell girls gymnastic shorts are adorable! They have a ruffle around the leg and they are stretchy somewhat. The blue color is like the color of the ocean. It is just beautiful. They are so shiny and add some Pizzazz to any gymnastic outfit. They look like they are made out of quality materials and that they will be very comfortable. I have purchased these for my granddaughter because she is into gymnastics and has been competing for a couple years. She has practice several times a week so it is great for her to have options of what she can wear. These shorts will be perfect for her.
