Purchased for my 8y/o daughter who started back to soccer a couple weeks ago. She absolutely loves the shoes. They fit well. She played in them for her first game last week. No complaints about blisters or hurting and they are very colorful and cute. Just her style.
Great shirt!
My daughter loves this and wanted to wear it immediately.
She’s a slim 6 year old and the small fits her perfectly. If she were any bigger I would’ve like a medium, I think.
Love the darker top and lighter bottom for our active, messy girl ;) Also washes well.
My daughter LOVES these. They are true to size and she says they’re very comfortable. As a bonus, they’re also super cute and stylish! Not sure how well the star charms are going to last with our active girl, but she sure will be looking great for the first day of school.
I love it! They are sweat proof, cute, and comfortable! They also do great with embroidery!
Thick and Durable, but Pay Attention to the TightsThe material of this dance leotard is quite thick and sturdy. It feels durable and holds its shape well, but if you are looking for something very lightweight, thin, and super soft, this may not be the best choice. The set comes with black tights. They are fine for regular dance practice, but many performances require white or other specific-colored tights, so we probably won’t be able to use the included pair for performances. Also, something important to know about the tights: they have two openings on the bottom of the feet. They are convertible dance tights, not the non-slip style with grips on the soles.Overall, the outfit feels substantial and durable. I think it works well for regular dance classes, but I would recommend checking your dance school’s requirements for tights before using the full set for a performance.
This light pink/purple dress is an absolute winner! The textured, seersucker-style fabric gives it such a charming, high-end look while staying lightweight and soft enough for all-day wear. The smocked waistline creates a comfortable fit that moves easily, and the subtle puff sleeves add the sweet detail. The flared skirt with its tiered ruffle hem has a great spin factor, making it an instant favorite for spring, summer, family photos, or special occasions. It fits true to size, washes well without losing its shape, and easily pairs with sandals or flats. Highly recommend if you're looking for something versatile, cute, and well-made! I think I will purchase a second for my other daughter.
I got this dress for my daughter to wear during warmer weather, and it has been an easy option for both casual outings and slightly dressier occasions. The square neckline and short sleeves give it a simple, pretty look, while the fuller skirt has enough movement for a good twirl. The smocked back has plenty of stretch and made the dress easy for her to pull on by herself. It fits comfortably without feeling tight, and she could run and play without the dress restricting her movement. The outer fabric is lightweight, and the cotton lining feels soft and breathable against the skin. The lining makes a noticeable difference in comfort, especially on hot days, and the dress feels much less stiff than some formal-looking styles. One thing to keep in mind is that the cotton lining can wrinkle quite a bit after washing and may shrink slightly if washed in warmer water. I would stick with cold water and gentle care to help the hem and overall shape stay even. Lighter colors can also be a little more sheer, so that is worth considering when choosing a shade.Overall, this is a cute and comfortable summer dress that works well for parties. The stretchy back and soft lining make it especially practical for kids who want to look dressed up without feeling dressed up.
This smocked summer dress is a fantastic choice for little girls, from the adorable ruffled hem to the comfortable square neckline. It delivers incredible style and great features. Right off the bat, the material construction feels very well-made. It features a lightweight outer shell with excellent seams, and I was genuinely impressed by how nice and cool the 100% cotton lining feels against the skin. The crisscross back design adds a lovely touch without being too complicated. Also, I love the twirl-friendly design of this dress. Having that A-line skater silhouette means she can easily spin around in the yard and the skirt flares out beautifully. It is absolutely perfect for promoting independence since she can get dressed entirely on her own without struggling with tiny buttons or zippers. It gives you true peace of mind knowing she won't feel restricted when running or playing at the park. You will notice a notable difference in how much she reaches for this dress compared to her stiffer, more formal outfits.Coming to the everyday wearability itself, it is quite good. The stretchy back smocking fits perfectly true to size and moves wonderfully with her body. It makes your life so much easier when you need a quick, cute outfit for a summer party. My only pet-peeve is the mixed material construction when it comes time to do laundry. You will find that because the lining is pure cotton and the outer shell is polyester, the inner lining has a tendency to shrink slightly if you wash it in warm water, which can make the dress look a bit warped at the hem. But given how breathable it is and the incredibly cute design, I am highly satisfied with this purchase. If you are looking for a comfortable, independent-dressing summer outfit, this is a brilliant choice.
Upfront info: when reviewing children’s clothes, I am assessing both from the kid’s perspective (is it comfortable, stiff, itchy, soft, trendy, cool, etc.?) as well as from the adult’s perspective (is it stain resistant, easy to wash and dry, how does it hold up after use, how’s the sizing?). I don’t review until after kiddo has worn the clothing at least once and it’s gone through the wash. I need clothes to last multiple wears and be high quality to deserve 4+ stars, and a 5-star piece of children’s clothing for me is something that is “cool” for them to wear, looks good straight out of the wash, durable, stain resistant, and likely to last long enough to be hand me downs. I also want low-maintenance - moms don’t have time to iron our own clothes, much less the clothes of our kiddos!Summary: This is almost a 5-star product - we took half a star away because the underskirt wrinkled badly in the wash, bunching up and almost turning into a volume-adding pettiskirt. It needs to be steamed or ironed to really look right after being washed and dried. Otherwise, it is a fantastic dress and we would buy more of them without question. This Stelle Girls’ smocked casual dress is extremely cute, flattering, and deemed as “very comfy” by our kiddo. The big win for me is she spilled ketchup on it in multiple places, and it washed right out with just a quick stain treatment. I’m a BIG fan of that. The actual dress itself also came out of the wash looking just fine. The only issue we have with this dress is that the underskirt came out extremely wrinkled - I’m not showing pictures to preserve privacy, but it almost looks like a poufy pettiskirt. It lost probably 3/4 of the length. It’s not a huge issue - she’s still worn the dress without complaint or concern, it just loses some of the modesty. The best way to describe it is it looks like someone crumpled up a piece of paper, and it has that same bunching effect under the dress. She is somewhat between sizes at 4’1” and 50 lbs or so, and right at a 7 in most clothes, so the 6/7 fits perfectly and if I had wanted room to grow, the 8/9 would have been the right one to be a little loose but give her another year of wear.Overall, we love this dress and it would be an overwhelming 5 stars if the underskirt were made of a fabric that didn’t wrinkle as badly as the 100% cotton. But even as such, she got compliments on it, has worn it three days in a row, and we will likely order another!
Navy running shorts.
I am in love with these shorts. They’re super comfy and flexible to move in.
I’m practice yoga and so far everything from Stelle has felt great!
Customer service has also been amazing.
Thank you!
My daughter takes ballet classes and loves this leotard. It is comfortable, stretchy, and allows her to move easily during class. I also love that it includes tights, making it a complete set. It looks lovely on her and is perfect for her ballet classes!
We've ordered a few pieces from this brand at this point, and this set kept up the same standard we've come to expect. The leotard has a simple scoop neck and short sleeves, so it layers easily under a skirt or on its own for class. The fabric has real stretch to it without feeling thin, which matters for something that's going through repeated stretching and movement in dance or gymnastics. It comes paired with tights, and you can choose footed or footless depending on what your studio requires. The material breathes well, so it doesn't feel clingy or overheated after a full class. Seams sit flat instead of digging in, which is the kind of detail that only shows up after actually wearing it through practice.
My 7yo LOVES this top! This brand and material with iridescent sheen have become her FAVORITE for dance & gymnastics clothes. The quality of material and stitching are topnotch, the fabric is soft and smooth. It fits perfectly for her long slim physique (we ordered size 6/7). The white color gives snow color effects when the light reflects off of it, and the cut is appropriate for age group with thick straps that crisscross in the back keeping it securely in place.10/10 recommend for young dancers and gymnasts.
I absolutely love this ballet set! The leotard is beautiful, true to size, and made from high quality material. The fabric is soft, stretchy and thick enough to feel durable without being bulky. It fits my daughter perfectly and is very comfortable for her to move around in.The tights really impressed me as well. They're sturdy, well made and much better quality than many others we tried. They have just the right amount of stretch and feel like they'll hold up well with regular use.Overall, this is an excellent quality outfit, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this brand again. Highly recommend!
Quite high in the torso up to the neck, it does have adjustable shoulder straps, but the torso- belly area is so tall that it was either going to gape at the bottom or have to go up into her armpits to stay from falling off, so it might’ve been a bit uncomfortable in the armpits. The fabric was stretchy and thick compared to some other leotards, but it was still not thick enough to hold down in the chest area and you could see outlines of body parts, which I did not like I can easily put a skirt over my daughter’s bottom, but on the top, it might be too revealing. I ended up going out and buying a pair of shorts the same day for her to wear over top of this. The tights at least have holes for pulling them up and getting ready for point if needed. Unfortunately the tights and leotard were different color pinks.
I gave five stars for the quality, because the material is comfortable and easily adjustable. The size's cover a large range, so if you are buying for the smaller size in the range the tights and leotard will be large and have bunching. For a girl in 5t the tights bunched quite a bit and went up below her armpits. The Leotard did not fit snuggly at the bottom allowing for gaps where you don't want gaps. The straps are easily adjustable, and they can be swapped out for the clear straps that are included. The tights are thick enough not to tear easily while also being breathable. For the money spent this is good quality, just be careful with choosing a size.
The fit of the tights for the 4-5t size was excellent, it didn't bunch or ride too high on a 5t girl. The tights were thicker so they wouldn't tear easily but also very breathable. The leotard was well made, a good fit and comfortable. The color was not faded or dull and the fabric was soft and movable. The straps were easily adjustable and had a decent range for the two sizes it covered.
We use Stelle for a lot of our dance attire. They tend to be priced fairly and affordability with pretty decent quality. If it's for recreational use then Stelle works great. For more rigorous or regular training, competion level, etc. We do use higher end dance apparel companies. My daughter is a pretty averaged sized13 yo and we ordered the XXL 14/16. This fit her comfortably. Her only complaint was that it was a bit tight in the arm/shoulder area. In all fairness, she uses the strapped leotardes so it may just feel different. Other than that she said it fits rather comfortably and the material is soft. It has a good weight to it and doesn't feel too thin or see through. She wore it during practice with no complaints. The tights fit well and as tights should. Not too thin. I don't think she noticed a difference from her other tights which is a good thing. If they continue to sell it in packs I'd like the options for pink tights with the black leo.
We have several leotards for our granddaughter but this one is overall the nicest. It’s thicker and just feels like it’s better material. It’s also very pretty which matters! She looks adorable in red and loves this leotard. She asks to wear it all the time but we tell her it’s being washed because once a week is good enough. Great price for high quality great design.
We are very happy with this ballet set! The quality is excellent, and the material is incredibly soft, comfortable, and stretchy. It fits true to size and gives my daughter plenty of freedom to move during dance class. The leotard and tights are both well made, and the set is a great value for the price. We paired it with a little ballet skirt, and it created the perfect classic ballerina outfit. My daughter absolutely loves wearing it, and I would definitely recommend it to other dance families!
Our little aspiring ballerina 7yr old loves this set for a couple of reasons...1. It's different the 'red' color stands out very nicely amongst her peers pink/purples.2. It's lightweight/shortsleeve - perfect for summer - her studio gets hot so this is great.3. Fits easy and goes on nice - empowers her to have responsibility. What she doesn't like on it... No easy way to go potty which unfortunately somehow always happens during ballet time. We're working on that, but ya it's ubiquitous amongst all ballet gear - wish those making gear for younger ones would consider this a little more.
There is a quiet time before a dance class begins. The room is still. Shoes are tied. Hair is gathered into a bun. The barre waits by the mirror, and somewhere a piano will soon play the first note. That is where this set found its place in our home. When this package arrived, I was not looking for something extravagant. Dance clothes do not have to be loud. They only have to disappear into the routine so the dancer can think about movement instead of adjusting straps or tugging at fabric every few minutes. The first thing I noticed was the presentation. Everything was neatly organized inside a reusable zippered pouch. The leotard, the convertible tights, and the extra straps each had their own place. It felt more like opening a thoughtfully prepared dance kit than simply pulling clothing out of a shipping bag. It made a good first impression before anyone even tried it on.The black leotard has a clean, classic look that reminds me why some designs never go out of style. There are no unnecessary decorations or flashy logos. Just simple lines that belong in a ballet studio. Sometimes the best equipment is the kind you stop noticing after the first few minutes. The fabric surprised me. It has enough weight to feel substantial but still stretches easily. It doesn't feel paper thin or delicate. The front lining adds another level of confidence without making the garment feel bulky or hot. The seams are straight, the stitching is clean, and nothing about it feels cheaply assembled. The adjustable straps are another feature that deserves praise. Every child is built a little differently, and having the ability to fine tune the fit makes a bigger difference than people realize. Once adjusted, everything stayed where it belonged. No constant slipping from the shoulders. No fidgeting. Just a comfortable fit that let the focus remain on dancing.I also appreciate that Stelle included the extra clear and matching straps. They are one of those accessories you may not need every week, but when recital season arrives and costumes become part of the conversation, you'll be glad they're sitting in the package instead of having to make another purchase later. It is a thoughtful inclusion that adds real value. The convertible tights are equally impressive. They have a soft feel that doesn't immediately scream "fragile."Stretching them over the feet took very little effort, and once on, they hugged evenly without looking blotchy or overly shiny under bright lighting. The convertible opening is finished cleanly and looks durable enough to handle repeated use.Parents with dancers already know how useful convertible tights can be. They make changing footwear much easier during class and rehearsals. It is one of those small conveniences that becomes impossible to give up once you've used them. One thing I always examine is how a garment looks before it is worn. Wrinkles from packaging are normal, but these relaxed quickly and the fabric itself looked smooth and refined. The black color is rich and consistent without fading or odd discoloration.I also spent some time photographing every component before using it. The reusable pouch, the folded leotard, the tights both inside and outside the package, the adjustable straps, and the finished details all photographed beautifully. Usually products reveal little flaws once they're under bright lighting and a camera lens. This set actually held up remarkably well. Clean stitching, even construction, and quality materials became more noticeable the closer I looked. There is something satisfying about buying a product that doesn't try too hard. It simply does what it promises. It arrives organized. It fits comfortably. It looks appropriate in class. It includes useful accessories. Then it quietly becomes part of the weekly routine. That, to me, is what good dancewear should accomplish. No child remembers the brand of leotard years later. They remember learning the first position, hearing applause after a recital, laughing with classmates between rehearsals, and slowly becoming more confident each week. Clothing should support those memories rather than distract from them. This set does exactly that.It is comfortable enough to wear through long practices, thoughtfully designed for future recitals, and made with enough care that I never felt like corners had been cut. There are certainly more expensive options on the market, but after handling every piece and taking the time to inspect the details up close, I honestly never found myself wishing I had spent more.Sometimes the best products are the quiet ones. They arrive, they work exactly as they should, and they become part of ordinary life without asking for attention. This dance set earned that place.
Oh my goodness, my granddaughter loves this sparkly dance top. She normally wears a 13/14, but this is a 12/13 and fits her snug, but she says it's still very comfortable when she's in her gymnastics class. The straps are sewn very securely, which is always a worry for her. The top is lined, and the inside is nice and soft, but because of the sparkly outside fabric, it's a little scratchy on the outside, but isn't a problem for her. She loves the color and style very much. She has asked for another one in the future!
Being a California girl, I am proud just for a business that is based and design here in California! And it is a great quality ballet leotard, made of a thick, shiny fabric. The fabric is a good quality spandex, and the leggings are made up an opaque high stretch material. The leggings have the hole at the bottom of the foot so they can be converted to footless leggings as needed for ballet. The size caught me by surprise because it says XXL, but of course it didn’t look to me like that big of a size. Then I remembered that it’s for a teenager so this would be like a size 14-16 yr old!My daughter is 13 years old is 98 pounds and is just about 5 feet tall now. And this leotard fit well and is not too tight but still has a little bit of room to grow in it.And the great thing about the tights that are footloose is that they will last a little bit longer because as my teenager stretches out, these tights will still be able to fit at least as footless tights! So this leotard and tights combo with a really great value for the money!I highly recommend this if you have a young ballet star in the making!
