Overall these Stella girls black shorts are very lightweight for sports and have good coverage. I like that these shorts have an underlayer biker short with a spacious pocket that can fit a phone or other small items. It is perfect for hot summer days and looks like a skirt. These shorts are also the perfect length (not too short) and are accurate to size. Definitely recommend for athletic shorts with an underlayer.

My daughter has been deeply opposed to the trend of the loose, flowy shorts because so many of them only have a built-in panty-style under layer. Several of the other ones that do have shorts have such a small inseam that they just ride up and act like underwear.She loves these shorts! The built-in shorts underneath are long enough for comfort and to prevent chafing. They also have a built-in pocket for a cell phone. These are so comfortable that after I had her try them on, she decided to wear them for the rest of the day. She loves that when she moves and the outer layer of shorts flies up, the under layer still keeps her covered.The size chart is perfect. She’s 5’ 2.5” with a 27” waist and 35” hips. The 14-15Y size was just right.I washed these when they arrived (with other dark athletic clothing) and they washed well. No loose threads or anything.These have just become a favorite article of clothing! I think I need to order some other colors :)

My daughter love the color and skirt shorts. She loves to move around and do sports but she wants to wear skirts so this is what she goes for. It fits well and feel comfy during running or sports movement. Feel smooth, comfortable and looks good. If the outer skirt is a little bit longer will be perfect (due to my daughter's looking preference).

Super cute flowy shorts in athletic material which makes it great for sports and general hot weather. My child attends a school that has a dress code but one of the options is to wear navy shorts or skirt. My child gets overheated in the typical uniform material but this athletic wear material is not constricting, moisture wicking, and cute to boot. It looks like a skirt but has the coverage of shorts and has pockets on the inside short even though they are pretty small on the xs size. I will definitely consider buying these in more colors!

My daughter loves these. She wears them all the time. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the shorts are cute and well made. The seams are stitched together well - no issues that I could see.The shorts are short - just cover about half of her thigh. If if was a skirt it would be a problem of underwear showing too easily, but as they are shorts, everything is covered up fine and they are great for active summer wear. So overall a good value!
