Comfortable skorts at a great price. There are no issues with it being see through or immodest...it feels completely safe to walk and move around in it. I ordered in a size x-small and it fits just right. For reference, I am 5ft 2 in,120-125 lbs, athletic build, and size small/x-small fits me best. All the stitching and sewing is done well with no open seams, overlapping of material or loose hanging thread. The material is mostly polyester but it doesn't look cheap bc of the crepey texture of the skirt. And what I like most about it is how it moves. Good skirt!
I think I should have sized down. I got a size small and it falls down a little so I think I suggest sizing down but I still really like this sporty skirt with built-in shorts. It’s very flattering on and feels like high quality material. It’s a nice opaque black so it’s not see-thru and it’s 95% polyester 5% spandex so an awesome amount of elasticity and flow. It’s not too heavy but is light enough to move in. I think this skirt is fairly priced and I’d order it again.
This is a very cute skater skirt. My favorite feature is that it has nice shorts underneath, which really increases my confidence while wearing it. However, even with the added security of the shorts, I feel the overall style would probably work better on a younger person.Construction and QualityThe fabric is nice and decently thick, providing a good drape. The elastic waistband is bound well and feels comfortable around my waist and well sewn. Regarding the craftsmanship, the entire hem is coverstitched, and the seams are entirely serged, so it should be durable enough for daily ware. And best of all, it is machine washable.Sizing and FitThe sizing appears to be true to size. I am 5'3" and 133 lbs, the small size fit perfectly. The internal shorts are comfortable and do not feel restrictive.Value and StyleAt a $20 price point, this item represents a good value as it combines a skirt and internal shorts. The quality of the material and the sewing justify the cost. While the "flared mini" look might work better on younger people, I still think it is a nice garment. And I may be giving mine to my niece as it looks too youthful for me. Yet, I still think it is a 5-star skirt, just not for me.
This is a super cute and well made skort! My two teen daughters actually argued over who would get to keep it. The textured crepe fabric is mid to heavy weight and hangs very well. It dresses up easily and looks very classy and expensive, but is still super comfortable. I am strict about hem lines on my girls and this skort makes the cut. It is 15.5" from top of the waistband to the hem. The shorts underneath are about 3" shorter, so they won't show, but still offer modesty. The thick skirt layer is 95% polyester/5% spandex as listed, and the thinner shorts are 80% nylon/20% spandex. Neither layer is see through which is wonderful. We ordered a size small to have growing room, but could also have done well with an X-small. My teens are 5'-2" and 5'-3" and just over 100 pounds until the next growth spurt.
I’ve reached a point where if a skirt doesn’t come with built-in shorts, it’s probably staying on the hanger, and this Stelle skort is a great reminder of why. It has just enough of a flared "skater" silhouette to look intentional and cute, but the shorts underneath provide the kind of peace of mind that allows you to actually move like a normal human being. The black fabric is soft and has a decent weight to it, so it doesn't feel like it's going to dissolve after one trip through the wash, and it surprisingly hasn't become a magnet for every piece of lint in my house yet.The sizing on the Large fits exactly as I’d hoped, with a waistband that is secure without feeling like it's staging a coup against my midsection. It’s the perfect "decoy" piece of clothing—it looks like a versatile mini skirt for a casual lunch, but it’s secretly as comfortable as my favorite gym gear. My only real complaint is that I didn't get it sooner, as it’s basically solved my dilemma of wanting to look put-together while still being prepared for a sudden, unexpected flight of stairs.
