Butter yellow is all the rage this spring, but it’s still a little chilly in the PNW. I wanted a sweatshirt that has a slight crop as I like my tops to meet the top of my jeans, and this sweater is perfect. It will probably soften with more washes. The fit is perfect- not too boxy and the sleeves aren’t ginormous like I’ve experienced with other similar tops. For reference I am 5’4”, 160 lbs, and ordered my true size medium.

The color is so pretty—it’s this rich, warm coffee brown and literally goes with everything in my closet.

The fit is super relaxed and oversized in the best way! Sleeves are nice and long, perfect for pulling over my hands when it’s chilly.

But the best part? The fabric…It’s soft It’s warm enough for these cooler mornings (or when the AC is blasting), but it doesn’t make me overheat when I’m walking around in 70/80 degree weather. Not scratchy at all, and after a few washes, it still looks brand new—no pilling or fading.
If you’re into that cozy, casual aesthetic, grab this in coffee. 10/10. Obsessed!

This grey sweatshirt I received today, I’d been excitedly waiting for it forever, it seemed. I’ve been on a kick lately to find the perfect sweatshirt, that’s cropped, to go with my new faded jeans, ad pictured below. That’s my perfect cute outfit.I ordered a larger than normal XXL sweatshirt because I was looking for an oversized look. I normally wear a XL, or a large. I do like baggier tops, and sweaters but I may have ordered too baggy.I’ve read countless reviews, talking about how they smelled a certain smell on their item, and I always thought that I was very lucky not to have to go through that. Unfortunately, my luck has changed, as I did notice a very slight smell, sorta chemically, for a lack of a better word, but, did wear off eventually.I think this sweatshirt is cute, but if I choose to keep it, I’ll need to size down to my normal XL. I don’t think mine looks like the other reviewers do, nor do I feel it looks the same as the ad either.And I’m not a huge fan of the material. I really like my sweatshirts to feel like a warm, cozy hug.But this has got a silky feel to it, which is not the warmth and inviting feeling I want in my sweatshirts. So many of these sweatshirts now are made this way, unfortunately. It’s hard to get a traditional, soft and comfortable sweatshirt anymore.Frankly, I’m just not sure if I should return this for a smaller size and wear it and enjoy it, or just to keep looking and try my luck with another sweatshirt. I’m still on my quest to find the best and cutest cropped sweatshirt obtainable. I will update if I find the holy grail of sweatshirts.Am I keeping this grey attractive sweatshirt? Snagged this Stelle cropped sweatshirt in a small (I'm 5'6", 135 lbs, 34C bust), and it's overall a good pick for that trendy cropped look without being too revealing. I actually ordered both small and medium to compare, but the medium felt even more boxy around the shoulders – like it was swimming on me – so I stuck with the small for a slightly more fitted (but still oversized) silhouette. It's a bit boxy in general, which gives it that relaxed, effortless style, but if you're petite, size down for the best drape.What I appreciate most is the more cotton-y material – it's not that super buttery soft stuff everyone raves about in reviews, but that's exactly what I was after for a sturdier, everyday feel. The fabric has a good weight to it, so it'll keep me warm on crisp fall days without overheating. The crop hits right at my hips, which is perfect for pairing with high-waisted jeans or leggings, and the color choices are spot-on.Haven't tossed it in the wash yet, so can't speak to durability there, but fingers crossed it holds up. For the price, it's decent value – nothing extravagant. Overall a good sweatshirt.
