The best fit can vary depending on your child’s body type and your preferred fit—some parents choose a roomier, more relaxed fit, while others prefer a closer, more fitted look. If your child is not average for their age or falls between sizes, we recommend following the steps below for a more accurate fit.

Use a soft measuring tape and measure:

Chest: Around the fullest part of the chest
Waist: Around the natural waist
Hips: Around the fullest part of the hips
Height: From head to toe while standing straight

✅ Tips for accuracy:

1. Keep the tape snug but not tight
2. The child should stand straight with feet together
3. Wear light clothing for best results
4. Make sure the tape is not twisted

Our Stelle sports bras are designed to grow with your child, providing the balance of comfort and modesty. To ensure extra coverage and a smooth fit for older girls, all Stelle sports bras in sizes L through 2XL include removable pads.

Shrinkage can vary depending on the fabric blend used in each garment.

Most of our styles are pre-shrunk, but slight shrinkage may still occur if exposed to high heat—especially for pieces that include cotton. To help maintain the best fit, we recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low or air drying whenever possible.

To extend the life of all Stelle apparel, it’s best to avoid high-heat drying, as it helps preserve the fabric’s shape, elasticity, and overall softness.
