Girl's Satin Ballet Shoes with Ribbon
Hold still when dancing:
The ballet shoes are featured with elastic cotton drawstring with stretch and ribbons. Designed to hold the feet still when dancing.
Good choice beginner girls ballerinas but also suitable for little yogis and belly dancers.
How to tie ribbons on ballet shoes:
Wrap the two ribbons around the dancer's ankle in opposite directions, overlapping one another so as to form a cross at the front.
The ends are then tied together in a knot, which is then tucked under the ribbon on the inside of the ankle to hide it from view.
These simple slippers are great for a little dancer. My only complaint is that my daughter immediately pulled on the elastic ribbon that cinches shut the opening and forms the bow at the toe. She pulled it out of the slit that holds it and it is impossible to get back in, and now there is no way to tighten the shoe. I recommend sewing or flying that ribbon down immediately.
I decided to go a size up and I am glad I did. The shoes fit perfectly and she loves them.
My 2year old just loves her ballet shoes. She does ballet after school and these have held up fine! Great for an inexpensive pair of ballet shoes that gets the job done for your little ballerina. There still in great condition over a month later of use.
These are cute and seem to be well made. Very padded. I ordered my daughters street shoe size and they seem to be "maybe" a 1/2 size bigger... not sure they are meant to be fitting like regular ballet shoes though. They remind me more of house shoes. My daughter loves them and wants to wear them all day.
